CASKETS
There are basically three types of caskets; Metal,
Wood and Combinations.
Metals
The metals come in a variety of gauges from 20 to 16 gauges, which
designate the thickness of the metal. The lower the figure the higher
the thickness. They also can be specific metals, such as copper,
stainless steel and bronze. But metals are separated into two groups,
with a gasket or with a latch. The gasketed caskets are locked shut,
while the others are latched shut. Examples of the two are shown
here.

Woods
The woods are separated into two classes, Selected Hardwoods and
Solid Hardwoods. Selected Hardwoods can be a poplar or other type
of wood that has a different finish applied to it, such as mahogany
or walnut finish. The solid hardwood is made predominantly of a
specific wood, such as Oak, Mahogany, Maple or Pine. Examples of
the two are shown.

Combinations
The combinations can be made of compressed woods, hardboard or other
materials. The two examples here are hardboard with a veneer layer
applied to it and a compressed hardwood with a cloth covering applied
to it.

URNS
There are so many varieties of urns available that if you have an
idea of the type of urn you would like, it's probably available.
Typically, however, the types of urns can be classified as, standard,
contemporary and designer. A few examples are shown here.

OUTER
CEMENT CONTAINERS
Cement containers can be separated into three types. A liner, grave
box or vault. The liner is put together in sections in the ground,
the grave box is a complete molded bottom with either a single or
dual piece top and the vault is a one piece bottom and top of varying
thickness and materials with an adhesive material applied to the
grooves when closed. Examples of which are shown.
